Before knowing about the space robot first we know about the robot. Robot is an artificial human body designed by mechanical components and electronic circuitry. The robot has an artificial intelligence in its mind that is completely designed by embedded systems. At the present time most of the industries and companies are using robots as a human worker because robots can perform the desired task very accurate and faster than a human.
What is Space Robot?
We all know that it has been very important to know about space for every country in the world and to do this some countries prepare some specific people to send them in space and research about the space. So if a robot can do any task on the ground then why should not make a space robot also that can study about the space and observes the space components like space temperature,water in space and the wind of space. So from here the space robot idea comes into the mind.
The most and major requirement of designing a space robot is that it should work properly in the zero gravity and vacuum because there is no any gravity forces in the space. So because of this requirement the space robots have some advantages and disadvantages also. The advantage is that, due to zero gravity the space robot does not need to withstand the forces in space so the arms and joints of space robot can be make light and the weight of robot can be reduced and the disadvantage of space robot is that
the temperature of space may vary from low to high and so the arms and other parts of its mechanical body are need to make very hard. The space robot has to have much stiffness.
